Sorry if I missed this somewhere, but does anyone know the offset of the factory 19” wheel on the Prius AWD limited. I have the specs of the wheel with the exception of offset.

Do you have a pic with the black wheels?

Reviving old thread but do you guys think this wheel would be a good fit? Screenshot_20250322_034604_Chrome.jpg

i’ve been reading this thread and I’m going to add my voice to the people telling you any offset lower than +35 is going to rub your fenders on a tire wider than say, 215 section width.

I’m currently running a set of tesla model 3 wheels (18x8.5 +40) with 235/45/r18 tires, and I would say that is the widest tire that will not rub on that offset. The 8.5 +40mm of offset rim JUST barely pokes past the fender, and the tire only barely clears the fender. I’m also working on getting a set of 17x9 +45 RPF1s. I recently found a set of two, so I’ve been able to check the fitment. I would hazard to say that this is the widest possible width/offset combo that will neither poke noticeably nor hit the suspension, BUT! I am on BC coilovers, which might give me just a little bit more suspension clearance than stock so please triple check your measurements.

Every .5 inches of rim width is going to give you just about 6mm more offset to play with, so using my current 8.5 +40 and 9 +45 wheels as data points, the lowest offset I would personally go to on an 8” wheel is +35. However, that is the absolute extreme before you start getting noticeable poke. Again going by how my tires fit, I would say you can MAYBE risk a 225 tire on a +35, but I would go narrower if you can. +32 is going to stick out even further, and require a narrower/stretched tire clear the fender. So, unless you’re okay with the poke look I would look for a higher offset (>40).

What size tire are you hoping to run? That’ll help us guide you to the proper wheel specs for your build.

I understand what you are saying. I don't like the wheel poking out and prefer it to be flush also. I found that wedsport do make a 17x8 with a +38 offset.

I'm very new to wheels sizes and don't want any issues. Would these have any fitment issues?

I have a limited white but I plan to go a bit darker with my tint. Maybe 20. Here is my baby!
