just found this. It only shows the drain and fill for both sides of the coolant systems. It doesn't include the inverter removal ( if I got that right while reading your OP ).

Thank you for the info. i have noticed that the bundle of wire that goes into the left of the inverter with a grey plastic. the wire goes in but that click doesn't latch in or click in. any idea how to install the plug holder to click in or latch tight?

i am referring to the bundle of wire with two socket on the left of the inverter (the side closer to the engine) what are those wires for?. i can shake the wire and it come loose. i have tried to push the clip in but it doesn't latch or click as it lock.

thank you for your post. i am thinking my problem could be the bundle of wire that goes into the inverter from the side next to the engine. the clip or wire socket holder is not latching or locking . even if i push the wire in and push that grey clip in , if i move the wire , they come out or come loose

how to go about to get that grey clip to lock in place

great news. i fixed the vehicle. it was the grey clip connector that is attached to the bundle of wires on the left of the inverter. the clip has to snap in place to the complete the connection. the car now start and drive.

another issue , this issue was happening before i changed the inverter: when the electric motor start the gas engine, there is a rattle and vibration that happens for couples of seconds and goes away. a knockings or ratcheting or grinding sound like. it's seems it coming from the passenger side or some sort. this happens when the car start cold or sometime when the car is hot and the electric motor start the gas engine.

Maybe when you disconnected the battery you lost the code, but not the error in the computer. I had to change the cooling fan assembly in my 2012 Prius C. I had to remove the radiator to do it. When all back together, I added coolant, and drove the car. After about 5 miles I got the "Check Hybrid System" code to pull over when safe and check system. Inverter coolant reservoir was empty, so I filled it up, turned the car on and the error was still there. I got my code reader, connected it, and scanned the car and 2 codes came up. I cleared the codes, turned the car back on and all is good now. You may need a better code reader to see the code and clear it.
