Is this known "Toyota" or "Prius" flaw, or is it a problem I should take to the dealer ti fix?

The car: new 2024 Prius LE (about 100 miles on it so far).

The problem: radio having been turned on, station selected, and playing at the end of a trip (power switch turned off, driver exits vehicle & locks doors). Sometimes starts playing automatically next time car is powered on, and driver starts driving. Sometimes stays silent (and manually enabling audio doesn't do anything). Often will start playing again at the beginning of the next trip after that -- whether or not any fiddling with the multimedia system was tried.

While in a session where radio does not work:
Does changing the input source bring back audio? Does changing the input source to android auto/carplay allow that audio to work but not radio?

Press volume knob button and hold for 10 seconds, will reboot unit.

So on a trip where it doesn't play, and you do this, without turning the car off/on again, does this bring audio back?

What about connecting your phone via bluetooth BUT NOT using android auto/carplay, and just playing a youtube video on the phone. Does the audio pass through to the head unit when radio isn't working?

Similar issue, I have car play activated, but select my audio source as "radio." Frequently (but not always) the audio system unilaterally changes to the audio source as my phone. Sometimes just randomly while I am driving. Is it possible to make an audio source "default" choice of "radio" rather than my phone other than disconnecting Car Play?

I'd like to know as well, because the radio/big info screen thingy, doesn't behave the best.
The source doesn't stay the same as before, Carplay isn't always back and once music settings reset by itself...
Maybe a software update might be a good idea Toyota....

I noticed this yesterday. Didn't turn off bluetooth or wifi on my phone, and when I came back I had to manually connect. Bluetooth works more often, but Android Auto never wants to auto connect. I keep having to press the toggle button for Android Audio in the device menu.

Edit: I fixed this by forgetting (in both the car + on my phone) and re-pairing my phone.

There have been other threads on this subject, yet I don't recall a solution in any of them. I sontomes have to go to the Bluetooth menu and 're-connect' the my Android Auto, although the toggles above it are set correctly to connect automatically. Not sure why it keeps losing the connection. I never turn off my Bluetooth on my Android phone.
