The powertrain warranty on US Prius is 5 years or 60K miles (whichever comes first), so your warranty has expired. What error codes were logged by your vehicle?

Thread resurrection. My wife bought a band new 2018 Prius in Nov 2018. On top of the 2 years or 2-1/2 year factory service warranty, we also bought an extra 5 year warranty all at the same time when we bought the car. They said our warranty expired in Nov 2023. I asked them that cant be for the 2 years was included and the 5 year that I bought makes it a minimum or 2 year service coverage. And I specifically asked them if its 7 years right before I paid the service premium.
PS: I had the same situation there before and the\y looked at the files and they found out that it I had a 5 more service cycle left at the end of 2023.
Any take will be great. Thanks CCG

Now we have a thread in the gen 2 forum that talks about both a gen 1 and a gen 4.

I didn't even get an answer besides members on Prius Chat being Territorial Creatures. You guys been hanging around here too long every single day. I think its time for some people to start looking for another hobby or even a job to release your personal anxieties. You may find this not pleasing and also quite true.

You can, but it is more work for the moderator. If you want it moved, report the post, suggest what you believe to be the correct forum, and provide a thread title, which the moderators appreciate.
Did not realize there was a question.
It is not really territorial except that information gets messy when it is mixed up between generations.

I know from my experience what a head-bender it can be when looking for specific information for a specific generation Prius, only to realize someone has gone off on a tangent and is now talking about a different generation. Sorry if it comes across as territorial, but how hard is it to check which forum you're in before posting a comment?

The warranty on your Gen? has long expired.

Your Gen? is still under warranty.
