There are a few dash cam threads but they don't focus on fishing/routing the cable for the rear camera. What's the best way that won't damage anything?

So I decided to just pay a shop $200 to install both a powered mirror and cameras. (Haggled down from $300)

It's probably the most important accessory you can add, so I don't want to wait and give myself a high chance of messing up my brand new car.

You can simply thread it through the roof lining to the hatch using electricians rods. Job done. Of course, if you have a sun roof you'll have to be careful.
For $300 I could've flown from the UK and done it ;)

Just a safety reminder that if you route wires over the doors, you always want to run the wires BEHIND the airbags; NEVER in front of them.

In the event of a curtain airbag deployment, a wire in front of the airbag could either cause direct injury(the airbag snaps the wire and it whips out and hurts someone) or indirect injury(the wire prevents the airbag from deploying properly and the person hits the frame instead of the airbag).
