Hey all, after using the Hybrid Assistant app on the Google Playstore to find out that block 1 is bad in my battery i replaced the two cells in the block and put it back in the car. I originally ran the OBD scanner because i had a loss of power to the gas pedal and the hybrid system warning came up and thats how i found out about the bad block but i figured after replacing the bad block it would stop and drive fine. But the same issues are still happening i'll list the ones i can think of below.
-Delayed Throttle Response (have to slam the peddle to get any power sometimes)
-the cooling fan for the battery is constantly on and sucking air
-after turning the engine off it shakes quite heavily
-barely any power in the gas pedal (flooring it and i barely get to 50mph after 50-60 seconds
TLDR: i replaced a bad block and the issues above didnt go away
any help would be appreciated, im quite capable to fix what the issue is if i know what it is.

Question - what modules did you install on the car? How serviceable were they and how did you check it?

Do you mean after turning the engine off and then trying to start it again? If so, it could be a bad head gasket (coolant leaking into cylinder)...
Can you read the trouble codes?

You need a good scan tool to read the trouble codes. The Hybrid Assistant app can not read trouble codes. Read post #1 and then scroll down to post #37 in this thread, https://priuschat.com/index.php?posts/3246758
Tha Autel AP200 is an excellent choice. It is $60 + tax on Amazon.

i replaced both the modules in block 1, currently getting code P3011 still and the previous issues still apply

it is not a bad head gasket, fully related to the battery

while the Hybrid Assistant cant read codes it can tell me which block is bad. I use Torque Lite to read/clear the codes

This means the battery temps are too high. Probably more bad modules or poor connections.

This could be no hv battery power to provide gas engine assistance. The engine by itself is a dog at low speed without hv battery assist. Normally a good hybrid battery never gets that low.

You could explain this better. If you mean after the engine shuts off it shakes badly when it's time to go at a stoplight or shakes badly the next morning, then you likely have a blown head gasket.

This could be a combination of hv battery and a serious head gasket issue.

i appreciate the response, and i mean exactly what i said with the engine. it shakes when it turns off and only then. there is no coolant in the oil and no other indication of a gasket leak, the hybrid assistant app says only block 1 is bad and i replaced both modules in block 1 with good new modules from a reliable source. the other blocks in the battery showed to be nominal in their charge and have no issues.
what it FEELS like to me is a sensor of some sort might be bad, or something else in the hybrid system could be tripping something that isnt supposed to be tripped but i truly dont know.

The Torque Lite app can not communicate with all the systems (ECU's) in your car. You need a better scan tool that is capable of reading all the trouble codes. That is the reason I wrote post #4.

Install the Dr Prius app and take a couple of screenshots when you are driving the car during hard acceleration and during maximum regenerative braking. Upload those screenshots to this thread.
