Unnecessary (& rough) running ICE

    Sounds like an EGR valve to me... I'd change the valve and the cooler thingy on the the other side of it. You can clean it but it takes less time to replace it. Also remove the intake manifold and try to clean the small ports as well. They can clog up and cause rough running. Check the tube between the valve and the intake manifold too. The Car Care Nut discussed that on one of his vids..

    After a lot of detective work, the source of the roughness was found to be:

    A broken motor mount.
    I was talking with a mechanic when I took it in for an oil & filter change and he suggested we try something after the tires were put back on.
    Lifted the engine just enough to take the load off the frame, vibration gone instantly. Released it, vibration back.
    Part ordered (took a month) & installed and now my Michigan Blue moneymaker is smooth as a baby's butt once more.
