    Hi all,

I just changed my inverter coolant and there’s this inverter hose that goes to the radiator. Right behind the radiator fan unit about waist height.
Just wondering what this slit is in on the hose? It seems to be liquid there as visible moisture but I can’t see any leaks.

this slit is only cut half way in its diameter (picture is from front). Can’t really tell what this is? Is the moisture a cause for concern ?Coolant is full and changed about a day now and have driven it.

From the bulging of the hose, my guess would be that's a place where two hose sections have been joined together by pushing them onto a nipple.

No idea if that's factory. I'd like to think Toyota'd have used just one longer hose instead. Also, they'd be likely to secure the hose ends on the nipple with hose clamps.

Maybe it's a repair in the field.
