Broken Toyota Phone app: Is anyone else experiencing Toyota app "downtime"?

    While my app has never been particularly useful, it has been nice to see service campaigns and recalls on it. For a long time, I want to say six months or more, I've only been able to open the app once - the rest of the time, it won't open beyond an error message reading:

    "Downtime

    We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with all features. We are working in resolving this problem as quickly as possible & apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

    Clicking the only button option, "Okay", instantly closes the app. It's a bit of a joke that it's taking so long to fix. However, I've started to wonder if this might be a me problem, as I haven't found anyone else online with this issue.

    Uninstall and reinstall. It feels like I have to do that every couple months for one reason or another.

    I've never used it. Sounds too glitchy
