I have a leak into the back seats and tire well of my 2017 Prius. I'm not sure if this is the culprit, but I found that the plastic tinted moulding panel that fits between rear glass and roof was loose and not fitting tightly against the roof. A few of the plastic clips attaching it to the metal studs were broken and it came off easily when I gently pried it up to inspect. I've ordered a replacement panel but I have no idea how to install it since the original studs remain firmly attached into the roof and the new panel has C-clips that face different directions. Any suggestions on how to install the replacement panel? I've found no help looking for video how-tos. Thanks!
Can you post a pic of the mounting side of the old panel so we can see how the old clips still in the roof were attached, and new replacement panel showing the clip alignment ? Both panels next to each other in one pic or a pic of each panel would be very helpful.
