I have been looking into all of the Threads I can find however I cannot seem to find one that tells me how to get Torque Pro to turn on my HV Cooling Fan (and change the Speed) and I'm wondering what steps I'm missing.

I read the suggestion from this Thread however it doesn't make much sense and it's also quite old but so no one feels the need to link it, this is the one I'm talking about -

Scanguage command to turn on hv battery cooling fan | Page 2 | PriusChat

Also, I looked at the image at the very end of this Thread to help me know that I have the correct PID and I do so I know I'm halfway there ( Controlling HV battery fan with Torque App. | PriusChat )

    ----------------------------------------------------------------

To make this as simple as possible, can someone please explain why I can turn on my HV Cooling Fan using Dr. Prius and then after exiting the app & opening Torque Pro, I AM seeing that the Fan Speed PID is picking up/making a connection with the HV Cooling Fan but no matter what, I cannot seem to get it to turn on.

So far I have tried to manually edit the PID so that the Minimum Value is 3 all the way up to 6 (same as the Maximum Value) but the fan still will not engage.

If I need to provide additional information, I'll be happy to but I wanted to make this as short and simple as possible.

In the 2nd link I shared, it appears that person was/is able to change their Fan Speed but nowhere can I find the details on how this can be done using Torque Pro so if there's another PID I need to add in combination with the Fan Speed PID, please let me know and I thank you guys in advance!

The HV cooling fan speed change will remain active while you have the Dr Prius app connected. It is only a temporary fan speed change. The HV cooling fan speed will revert back to being controlled by the car's ECU after disconnecting from the app. Saying it differently, the app is temporarily overriding the fan speed. The Torque app would function the same way.

Thank you for the reply and I get what you're saying. Perhaps there's something I'm missing (I'll include a screenshot from the 2nd Thread I initially pasted into this Post).

As far as the steps I'm taking, I am deselecting the "override battery temperature" option in Dr. Prius, exiting the app, Force Closing the app (just to be sure there are no connections left because Torque Pro and Dr. Prius cannot work at the same time with my ODB2 reader), then opening up Torque Pro. I do understand that values are only being measured when you are on a specific page however I do not understand how to turn on the Hybrid Cooling Fan with Torque Pro although people say it can be done and I have the "Cooling Fan Mode" PID on one of my Pages and even though there is a green light on the PID, no matter what I change the Minimum Value to, the fan never comes on which is what I'm trying to make happen.

I am using the same PID as this screenshot which appears to show that the user here is able to have their HV Cooling Fan turned all the way up to 6.

With that in mind, can you please tell me what I need to do to turn on the fan (and yes, while Torque Pro is running and on the Page with the Fan Made PID) and again, thanks so much for the response!
