We just picked up our new '24 XLE about two hours ago. The price was right, and it got 54.6mpg on the 7 mile drive home! It's not my first Prius. I had a 2010 five that was lost to a hard deer hit. Four Toyotas in our household now. The Prius, Tacoma, Venza and a Rav4.
It's an AWD. I'll grant you that it was a short distance at speeds of 45-56mph over a relatively flat surface, but I was driving into a 7-10mph north wind. Temp was probably about 31. It's a great start! I've been admiring these cars since thhe first previews came out in 2022.
