Yowza! Dumped into the $330s now .... a bit more & kiss off any ideas for an AI purchase. SEC ... doubtful they'll give is mussings a rats arss - when he says stuff that causes value to dump.
Then again, >10% ownership means you can't buy/sell w/in the same 365day window, w/out violating SEC's short sell rules.

The fantasy that there is an app that fixes every ill and inefficiency. It is what the cut government teenagers have for background.

I must participate in at least a half dozen patient portals. Each medical corporation wants control. Do they communicate? No. So every portal has a slightly different view of me and I have no ability to correct say the medicines list one has from several years ago listing a medicine I haven't taken in that long.

There is a view of reality that needs to be injected. I watched the government try to re-engineer the system that handles all veterans medical claims for a dozen years. My company that had built the original system was going out of business and there would be no more upgrades told to our customers years in advance. The VA brought in consultants, IBM, etc. It wasn't easy to replicate a distributed data base that resided in three nodes and could be accessed equally from anywhere. Any cut-over would be politically suicide if there were any disruptions of service. This duplication effort was without adding functionality.

Now imagine the government payment system and its effects. Yes technology has advanced since then but it isn't like downloading a FSD update where it can be reversed or at worst affects a single car. There are lives at stake. And not just a car-full.

Yes there are many with good intentions. Yes there is waste in any organization. But where are the wise heads...

Some where in transit looking for a safe place to live where they can start the process of rebuilding their lives ...... others have taken the view that early retirement isn't a bad option after all, so they have cashed in all they can and are headed to either Mexico or Canada before they close the borders and American citizens are trapped and force to work just to survive ...... I won't be investing in fast food at the moment .... it will be one of the first things that have to go because very few could afford such luxury, and those that can, have very low paid servants to cook proper meals for them ...... it's the ones between those two brackets that would have to be very worried at the moment ......

Ya gotta hold a lot of faith in Elon and his jnr hatchet boys, when they sacked the whole division that looked after the nukes .... because they couldn't determine just what they did, so they were surplus to requirement ...... with talent like that, one has to question any other decisions he makes  I guess they can get rid of all the mob that are on the lookout for foreign attacks on America's defences ..... that job has already been made redundant ;)

Easy way to reduce fast food dependency, spread a rumour the vaccine is being added to all the fast food, particularly chicken and beef mince, to speed up the herd immunity and skip having to do trials to see if there were any short term or long term effects ..... it would be questionable just what killed them
The other upside, all the trackers the govt puts in the vaccines will help with tracking the future short term workforce .....

I'm going to miss McDonald's cartilage mcnuggets.

Wondering if it's going to hurt the poorest in our nation above All else. Sure the garbage is fattening, & cheap, but isn't that why we bulk up pork & beef that way? because it's cheap?

Funny thing about McDonalds double cheese burger. I eat the middle and the dogs get the buns. It spiked my glucose. I repeated the experiment without the cheese, just the patties… same result.

Burger King does not do that.

Having read his biography and observed his personal and business practices, I’m sure everyone is ‘transactional’. Asperger syndrome.

Both are a similar breed, if it turns big $$, then it must be the right thing to do, no friends in business and the truth is what comes out of my mouth .... now, don't drag up something I said or did before .... that was then, this is the truth now .... George Orwell and 1984 seems to be the playbook ...... if we can't move you out, we will retrain you to think correctly ....

Even over here, the buns are so sweet I have to drown them with salt and pepper .... it also makes the meat taste like something .... pepper and salt ..... I just get a large fries, two salt satchels so they taste right, and a large flat white, lactose free milk and sometimes a chicken and lettuce wrap because they don't add sugar to the lesbian bread ...... even the fillet of fish batter and bun have sugar in them .... since I've removed sugar from my diet, I can really taste the sweet now .... the lactose free milk turns the milk sugars into a sweeter taste, so that's enough to get over the often burnt beans in the "Barista Brewed" coffee, seems the 5 hr course compressed into 3 hrs doesn't focus a lot of time on roasting the coffee beans, more on the fancy pattern on the top

Thankfully, the 30 ft Winnie doesn't fit through the drive through, so that limits fast coffee to the service station that sells LPG ..... I order it first, then spend the next 15 mins putting 250ltrs of LPG into the tank and they often bring it out to me (y) I think it's probably just to see what is taking so long :ROFLMAO:

Sure glad I took significant $ out of the market between New Year's eve and Monday. Left $ in real estate, I-bonds, bonds, cash equivalents.

I've been saying for several years that the valuations were excessive and there had to be a correction. So I had been lessening my exposure over time from an all in focus to a lets pare down approach. And at the end of the year when I could see the clown car coming, I decided to significantly reduce my exposure. I may not be making as much on the upside but when the carnage is complete, like Warren, I will have money to deploy.

Could I have done better with meme stocks? Sure but that is a maybe. I could also have chosen the wrong ones.

Guess I am just conservative financially.

Canada is planning to put a 100% tariff on Tesla products, so that can't be good for the stock price.

The only trouble with investing in gold, where do you secure it? How do you trade with it? You can't send it over the interweb to buy anything, or get it out of the country if you need to make a run for it in a hurry ..... the white South African's (White privileged society in all the Africana nations) discovered that when the locals turned on them .... what currency will be still worth the value you bought them at compared to the other major currencies ...... copper on the other hand, negotiable anywhere they are still building electric vehicles .....

Widespread economic chaos ahead, but somehow I think the idiot responsible will be happy to see it.
