unpair whatever you've paired to the car.

That should be about as helpful as the amount of information you've shared with us about your problem

@vvillovv What more is needed to identify the meaning of the icon? The car is new to us, I have tested and gone through various modes and that icon is always present. I know nothing about the icon nor have any more information to provide so if you have any specific questions I'll be happy to answer. Yes, I will double check paired devices albeit my phone is the only device.

Doesn’t match any of the icons described in the manual?

Yeah what @bisco said above ! How do you think anyone is going to guess from what you've added so far.
I can't even begin to imagine what question(s) to ask. Is it an OEM head unit? You sure?
Seems like you know even less about it than some of us trying to imagine, what you are trying to lean about.

If you want help you're gonna have to help us understand what you've got, cause so far, nobody that's commented to this thread have ever seen that ICON on their dash, unlike your second or third comment about how your sure someones seen it.

Just curious where this comment is coming from. You into adding aftermarket stuff and expecting us to guess what aftermarket stuff you've got?

2021 Prius Prime XLE (and OEM MDF) ~ and yes find it odd others haven't seen the icon (either normal or with slash.)

For reference, link to the manual:

Best I was locating was on page 446, that icon in the top right of the image (same icon, no slash.)

Best guess: Smart device not connected (yet it appear with and w/o smart device connected via USB..as in CarPlay in use.)

Well - for all the discussion it appears to be simply showing that no device is connected (THROUGH BLUE TOOTH.)
I find that annoying because when you still have a device connected (plugged in Apple Car Play for example) with full functions of the phone, that icon still appears. Unplug and connect to car wireless, and that icon is replaced by the signal strength bluetooth battery icons. I expect that to be the same for everyone - everyone has never seen this icon before. One day when I have access to another prime I'll test.

    You'll have to check a 2020 - 2022 Prime. The 2017 - 2019 didn't get car play, thank god for small favors a favor.
