Hi guys, it's great to find an active community. I would appreciate if you could recommend me 12V batteries compatible with the original for the 2019 PriusC, I have not been able to find one with the specifications in Lima-Peru. My 12V battery has lasted me 4 years and it is time to replace it. I would also like to ask you about what technical parameters need to be re-inserted after the battery has died, the computer has been reset. The historical data that I had is no longer there, can that be recovered? Thank you for your comments.

You will have to select a battery from what is available in stores.
It is important that the battery fits in its place.
    Battery dimensions 175x175x190mm
    Voltage 12V

The hieght in particular is important: Toyota uses a hold-down bracket with close to zero tolerance for height differences, an apparently unique, and boneheaded, design.

Everyone has a different experience when replacing the 12v.
Some lose radio presets, or window automatic operation.
Some use a 12v source on the jump point and don’t lose anything.
Nothing else needs to be reset or reprogrammed .
Unfortunately, you cannot recover lost data, although it is probably in the black box

The original battery for 2018 and 2019 models is known as size H3 or LN0. Toyota parts (USA) part number is 00544-H3LN0-TS

This is a relatively new battery size, so there aren't any equivalents yet.

    Good luck!

For a while they were total unobtanium. It was bad during covid. People weren't driving their cars, the batteries were going bad and there was zero supply anywhere. Toyota couldn't get them at any price.

Now the dealers either have them on the shelf or within 48h from their depots so it's a lot better. Still not something you can grab at a walmart though.
