Headlight level sensor 'tie rod' broken

    Just sent my 2008 Prius to Toyota for 100k service, and my dogbone mount was snapped on the level sensor like the pics above ☝ Toyota wanted almost £800 to supply and fit a new sensor and bracket etc. as the dogbone mount can’t be sourced from Toyota. No issues with the sensor etc. no error codes. At 1st, Toyota just said the sensors faulty and needs replacing. Upon further probing, turns out it’s just the dogbone. I’ve ordered one from eBay for £12 delivered. I’ll be fitting it myself. Then putting it through the MOT. Bloody Toyota dealers…
