I got mu PP two months ago and haven't used much gasoline b/c I'm charging it often. I've heard that gasoline has a "shelf life" so I'm wondering how long I can go before I should be adding fresh gas? Should I run on gas until the tank is nearly empty and then get fresh gas every couple of months? Just wondering what more experienced owners do.

It’s all over the place. Anything in the manual?
I’ve heard a year or so

the gen4 manual stated nine months to a year, but I wouldn't do that since oil changes are supposedly done annually at a minimum too. That being said, I would run the car in HV mode for one week every month. that way your burning through your gas and lubricating the mechanical bits of your motor. that also burns out gas & moisture collecting within your engine oil and prevents internal rust formation.

    Hope this helps.....

Thanks very much. I have been running the EV down so the engine runs bc I figured it’s good to run it once in a while, as you’ve stated. It’s a new concept for me, not using gas.

STA-BIL would be a good idea under your circumstances.
