Gen 4 prius: Electric tailgate, Apple CarPlay and Front camera

Havent posted on Priuschat for years since getting my BMW 330e, but i wanted to make a post about what i have done to my moms Gen 4 prius.

We bought a electric tailgate kit from Autoease and had it installed by a local shop.

And we bought two items from Car Solutions. Like the 5th time we have purchased from them, they always deliver.

A apple carplay box (both wired and wireless).

And a RFCC front camera box.

So now my moms Prius got a front camera and apple car play on the original toyota touch 2 screen.
These two boxes had to be serial connected together, which is something i have never done before, but it worked. Steering wheel buttons also work for both. In apple car play all the buttons do what you expect them to, and when either the OEM reverse camera or the front camera is on, you use the up and down buttons to change between them.
