Hello, I have a 2022 prius prime and I can't find anything on how to change the front turn signals bulbs. Does anyone know how?
This is on the (2017~2022) Prius Prime only? Looking at the Owner's Manuals, regular 4th gen and corresponding Prime, this appears to be the case: regular 4th gen shows peanut bulb replacement. Accordingly, for the Prime, full headlight replacement is the only option? The LED's supposedly are more reliable, but apparently not for OP. Just on the principal that troubling trends tend to continue, I'd assume 5th gen has LED turn signals integrated into headlight housing as well, lol? Off-topic, but I hate front turn signals integrated into headlight housing, think they should be outlawed: with most applications, good luck seeing them on car across the intersection, when your pupils are constricted by bright headlights. He may or may not be turning left, I can't blinking tell.
The issue of not being able to replace individual LEDs in a light assembly goes back to the Gen 2 brake lights. Of course, I have only seen a few Gen 2s with burned out LEDs. Hopefully the OPs issue is uncommon considering how much newer the bulbs are.
