Must read only for those who have not 'kept up' and are in need of friendly spin. DoGE has made USAID nothing and so opened doors for clearly bad actors and more subtle US opponents to gain footholds. Who would want those things? There have been other recent withdrawals from international reality (including WHO) not clearly tied to DoGE. DoGE is mostly tied to trimming US govt expenditures to those and staff supporting a particular ideology. As they should! If spoils of war is how Americans ought to think about this, and if <50% of votes cast constitutes a landslide victory. == Every other country is re calibrating, do not doubt it.
