    Not only car prices but car parts too, since we only assemble and make very few components ourselves.
    So much for curbing inflation....... IMHO

    Yeah, car parts are sort of the focus of the story.

    Could add some $8000 USD to the average $30-ish thousand rig?

    Well, guess not all the parts, but $2-3K anyway?

    Cars have been pricey since COVID. As long as he can keep truck prices down, his voters will be satisfied.
    And they only have to be under 100k, with 10 year financing

    :p:ROFLMAO::love::cool:, you've got some low expectations - since the median household income was $80K for 2024 and inflation rearing it's ugly head. Tariff then retaliation tariff isn't going to lower prices or boost the economy in the short run either. IMHO:whistle:
