    No worries at all.

What initially freaked me out was totaling the Prius the day after I lost my job. I know there is a supreme being in control but it is still difficult at times.

An update on my Camry XLE FWD Premium Plus.
I definitely enjoy the ride quality. I have now got most "feature" alerts & notifications down to an acceptable level and, for now, I have a meter display setup that helps me montor the hybrid system. The ECO mode on the Camry is much more aggressive than the Prius and requires a very light foot on the accelerator. I suspect the dealer used the cheaper E15 fuel in the car. I filled up this past week with E10 and, combined with driving changes, am finally starting to see some more reasonable mileage numbers.

I notice the engine has one belt. @Tideland Prius how does the HVAC system work? I know my 2017 beltless Prius had an electric AC compressor & used coolant + exhaust for heat.Mileage was much poorer when using cabin heat.
I know some Toyota models use a heat pump.

I'm not as familiar with the A25A-FXE engine but it should have an electric water pump and the HVAC should be electrically driven. I'm not sure what the belt is for.

The Prime/PHV models have a heat pump. I'm not sure about the bZ4X. I'm guessing it does. No point advertising radiant heating and then cheap out by not using a heat pump to squeeze out that extra efficiency.

I don't know either, but it might be for something to help the drive train at speeds above 85 MPH. At least here in the US market.

oops, sorry about the double request to sticky. duh

That would be because if charged by plugin, you can drive on EV with a cold engine.

Late question - were your windows tinted on the Prius? The reason I ask is because I was assured when I first put tint (in 1990) that it would prevent glass from flying in an accident, and make it harder to break into.

    Long time no see!
No, the windows on the 2017 Prius Two (the base trim at that time) were not tinted. They later came out with the lower trim Prius One for rentals & fleets, IIRC.

Someone later said they think that belt is for a harmonic balancer on the engine.
