The rubber strip on my Prius front roof cross bar blew off, and now when driving at highway speed, there is a very annoying high pitch whistle. Is a replacement rubber top strip available? Yakima has a very similar looking rubber inlay strip, but not sure if it will fit the Prius cross bar.

My rubber strips come partially out when I go through the car wash, and I'm wondering what would have changed to make that happen. Do I need to get new strips or would using something like rubber cement work to keep them in place but not make it permanent? I don't foresee putting a roof rack on, but don't want to remove the possibility for whomever I might sell it to down the road.

Is the stock rubber strips in the roof reinforcement channels?

Yes, it's the original and I keep putting it back in. They are on the sides of the roof and go from front to back.
