Gen 3 egr valve program

    If I replace my OEM egr valve with the new one that ends in 120 as opposed to 110, do I have to get updated programming from the dealer.

    No, the new EGR valve will work with the existing software, but it is advisable to get the software update.

    The new ecu software has improvements in other areas, possibly even water pump head gasket logic.
