I got my PanLong OBD2 device late yesterday and tried some initial tests this morning, after getting the device connected, paired, and paid for the Personal Test Package.

Three videos were captured, edited, and posted on Dropbox.

The first one is just showing the Battery Monitor Function, before I paid for and got the Personal Test Package.

The second video is still showing the Battery Monitor Function (with Cumulative Delta Voltage data showing) as I drove for about 7 minutes.

Third video is attempting to do Full Battery Test, but test was stopped by the app because HV battery was too cold. It was a chilly morning (outside temp about 45 degrees F) and battery was only 70 degrees or so by time I captured third video.

I will try the Full Battery Test and Load Test this afternoon after outside temp gets near 70 degrees.

I am new to the DrPrius app, and would appreciate any comments and/or interpretation by those more experienced with this app who might be able to share their thoughts on my results thus far.

Vehicle being tested is 2004 Prius with 66k miles, original HV battery.

    UPDATE
: Tests were repeated with battery temperatures above 77 degrees F. See Post #3 below.

If the test is performed outside the specified conditions and fails, then there is nothing to comment on.
The voltage bars blink like Christmas lights on a tree. Beautiful.

Yes, conditions were not optimal, so those tests should be viewed just for comparison to tests repeated same day in the afternoon after battery temperature was above 77 degrees F.

Here are still shots from the videos that were captured.

The "Bad" message partially visible on the screenshot reads "Bad OBD2, error reading". Not sure why this error message appeared, but it did so both times after I ran this test.

Videos for Full Battery Test and Battery Capacity (what DrPrius calls Life Expectancy) Test also uploaded to Dropbox, if anyone wants to watch entire tests.

To my novice eye, tests seem to show 20+ year old original HV battery with 66,000 miles seems to be doing vey well for it's age. Interpretations and comments from others with more experience with this app are welcome.

And, for anyone who wondered about the instructions for the Battery Capacity (Life Expectancy) Test telling you to put the vehicle in Drive, with brake and accelerator pedals both pressed to floor, the internal combustion engine (ICE) does NOT rev to it's highest possible RPM. In fact, it did not seem to rev all that high at all. As the battery reaches full charge, the ICE slows slightly.
