    Did this today and the difference is phenomenal
    The LED standard mirror indicator is almost useless in daylight. Really unimpressed.
    Besides the scary part of prising the expensive mirror away from the clips, the rest of the job was 10 minutes each side.
    Fantastic kit from Ali Express with everything you need. The quality is identical to the original.

    Hey there, I envy the fact that you have the EU spec, I really wish they had auto folding and mirror turn signal on the US market…what a bummer. Cheers!

    Do we know for certain that these are not compatible with US Spec cars? Does anyone have direct experience? If there's light and a wiring harness in the mirror, it would seem logical that it would.

    Hey there, yea it’s confirmed not in the US model, there’s a whole conversation somewhere else on this forum about it, it’s much much more complicated than it seems to be. I myself even have taken off the mirror caps to check and found out you’re going to have to take off the entire mirror and try to wire it by tapping into the rear turn signal wires. Cheers!

    Agree, you'd also need to remove the door panels etc too unbolt the mirror base itself.
    In the past, I've found removing the door panels inevitably causes rattles in the long run, so I always avoid it.
