Hello, Few days ago i buy 9inch android head unit that goes on MFD place. And i have trouble connecting can bus box to work so that i can have climate control on my Prius 2 gen. Is there any solution for this? I place the resistor between 9 and 10 pin. But still no fan control for climate. Here are few pictures. I have no more idea. I like the screen but its pain to play with heating only in steering wheel.
I don't know your Android unit at all, but the Gen2 Prius doesn't use CAN network for the MFD or climate control. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
Its aftermarket Head Unit. I'm not sure how can i get climate control to work. I see in few posts that people need to put resistor and that climate works but it works on a navigation OEM screen and my Head Unit is replacing the OEM navigation so i don't have heating controls. Any suggestion how to wire it or what to check? Thanks in advance.

Sorry for late replay, ill link radio later this evening when i come from home. After around 6 months i still dont have AC controls and HV battery screen. But i think seller sold me wrong cable. because from original navigation screen i have 2 connectors and on wiring harnest from android headunit i have only one connector that i can use. And if my android head unit is connected and working, i can connect original navigation screen and i can control AC only with one connector plug in. So i guess i get wrong wiring. But didnt have time to dissasamble it for the 25th time.
Here is the screen shoot from seller, dont order from him. He didnt help at all just stall, a eventualy issue a refund and i get 60euros of refund. And i order those cales and i think they are wrong, on the label it said RAV4 and Camry If anyone have right cable for prius 2 gen il be happy to know
just reading this today... where I am at is i pulled the headunit from my Gen 3... looks like two connectors are the same and trying to track down either two connectors and i make a harness to go from the Gen 2 to the Gen 3 plugs or I find a Gen 2 harness for this radio... thing is, I have the canbus box and after lots of reaseasrch and findout out which other Toyota shares the same connectors to then finding out they have Tesla style screens with the climate control... I am not trying to hunt down these details as it sounds like i should be able to have a/c controls using the headunit I have. Ill post more when i have those detaqils.
ohhhh.. you have to change the canbus settings... uhm. I need to find the exact settings through my notes... also, can you post a picture of the sticker on your canbus module? you see here.. if not mistaken, this is your problem. i cant wait to get another tablet, these days my notes have been horrible and all without mine.
