    buying a 2015 prius advertised as a 4 w/ navigation system

    however, neither salesperson nor I can figure out how to access the navigation system
    has 6 speakers and backup camera.

    Is this not a 4? could be be something else ... a glorified 2.

    thought navigation system was standard on a 4

    thx in advance

    bisco, thanks for info. Believed hit the car and setup buttons ... don't recall seeing anything resembling a navigation screen. Assume that navigation is standard on 4. Beginning to think this car might be a gloriifed 2 or maybe 3 if those things exist. Altho advertised as a 4 with all the 4 stuff.

    You can sign up for the Toyota owners site and plug in your vin and it should list the trim level and any options it was originally sold with.

    You can look at this thread here;

    It looks like the Navigation Package was always an optional package in the Four (spelled IV in earlier years).

    The first post in that thread may not have been updated since 2013. The spreadsheet attachments found at the bottom of that post did get updated through 2015, but I might not quite have the hang of how they're organized yet.
