@suntosh Our car can go 180 kmh or 110 mph without any issue. I did it occasionally in Autobahn just to piss BMW or Benz drivers off. It takes a while to get to 100 mph but doable with Gen3 Prius 2015 power train. It does not burn any oil even when I cruise for 2-3 hours at 140kmh or 90mph but I changed oil every 5000- 8000 miles using Longlife IV 0w-20 VW oil.

I have driven at those speeds and the engine performs blazingly well but now the inverter heats up.

So I would like to put an update and happy ending to this thread - The problem is solved

    1. Replaced the inverter cooling Pump genuine OEM - appears the one that failed was chinese made.
    2. My mechanic was able to narrow the clog in the cooling system. The radiator that is responsible for the hybrid system was completely clogged. Replaced that.

Now the car is happy. 200 miles of ripping across DFW 3 inch snow - no problems.

Interesting. Maybe the the first inverter radiator assembly I have heard being clogged up.

Your guy just changed the small inverter radiator at the top and not both radiators?

Was sealer used in the inverter cooling system?

I personally did not use the sealant someone else did for me but he did say that it was clogged and water was not flowing through the hoses but he did say that the inverter radiator was not working and the engine radiator was fine and I can confirm because in this snow the cooler and the heater work great.

The next is the cooler EGR cleanup. I found someine in DFW who specializes in this for HybridElectric Vehicles. Another 600$ set back on the horizon .. oh well, cheaper than having Head Gasket issues.

    See post 20.
My "guess" would be whoever used the fake sealer didn't know what they were doing.
Because they would NOT have used it in the first place, but, only saw the tank for the inverter.
And that crap likely also clogged up the new pump, even though it was a cheap chinese copy.

I'm glad someone figured it out for you....

Sealer never did anything good unless to succeed Scamming buyers of your car.
Sometimes, European mechanics are not aware that Toyota phospated HOAT is not compatible with silicate base coolant that most European cars use, G12, G12++, G13, etc. It can cause gelling when mixed with SLLC
