Yea I understand all of that...thats why I asked for suggestions and clarified with you about the AP200 scanner. Not sure why your so upset that I asked for help. That is what these these forums are for after all, I did thank you for your input as well.

That was a response to another posters question about the subcodes.

When things are "typed", it's hard to understand HOW things were meant.
    andwhensometypeeverythingtogetheritmakesit ne arimposi bletoundestandanythingtheyaretyping....

So it would probably be best to the click on there handle and clich the "ignore" feature.
It will make your life easier.
And there are a few "know it alls" that will attack you if you do not go along with EVERYTHING
they are typing, you are never right they are....

With the cars today it is near impossible to troubleshoot without a diagnostic tool. And good ones
do cost money. Even though the cost has come down to semi affordable. It's nice if you get one
that you can use on other vehicles as well, so you can use it on your other cars, or friends cars.

Most people here ARE trying to help.

So now that you got all that you need to get the subcodes sorry you couldn't make the dealer do it for you That's what you're supposed to do You're the one riding the horse whip it if need be. Don't let those youngings over there at the Toyota dealer tell you some nonsense they had to have the sub code their brains just didn't hold it oh well The AP200 will get it for you as fast as you can get it in your hands you'll have the subcode or if you got nothing else going on look under the hood of the battery most of the time that's where the problematic issues are rarely is it the air conditioner or the inverter unless it's a generation 3 but it can be but all the ones we've dealt with here soon as you open the battery you know what you're looking at It's a big mess soon as that's cleaned up everything seems to be pretty normal.

Just being funny man You're supposed to whip those people into shape when they're doing service work for you or me or whoever I don't let those people tell me that kind of crap That's the Toyota dealer calling me telling me blah blah blah and I asked him the subcodes and they all scratch their nice person and scratch their heads and stare at the floor oh hell no that is completely unacceptable for people that are getting paid with their requesting.
