I couldn’t agree more! I’ve gone over my 23 black limited with a fine tooth comb! It’s perfect not only the outside but the inside and features are better all around! This car is more refined then my GEN2 or GEN3 I’ve owned previously, Drive driving this car is pure pleasure AWD makes it nice handling and it’s not a rocket ship but it’s a lot quicker than any of the others I’ve owned, smooth on the highway. And I haven’t seen many others around, and I live in a larger metropolitan area in the Midwest!
Did you get rid of the hydrogen mobile for the new prius? or any other something that you can actually drive across the USA? .
Honestly he doesn’t know the specs. I have seen his comparisons for Lexus vs. Lexus for the RX 350 for example. He was saying the build quality in Japan was better than the Canadian version. I did the actual job of analyzing data for improved fits & overall quality. What he never implies is the specs that are allowed. An example would be the left side door x fender you have 3 specific points you would measure A zone which would half of 1/3rd of the top then right in the centre which is known as as the B zone and lastly half way up of a 3rd from the bottom which is the C zone All these cars are fitted to the design spec that TMNA has approved which would be the same as Japan Ideally would would think of you split a car down the middle is should be the same on each side. This is not how a car is fitted. You have 2 different team members of each side each TM will fit to spec. Most specs are for gaps + or - a .5mm which means you could have a gap on the left door x fender @ 1.0mm with a deviation of -.4mm which in turn would give you a “V” gap but it still meets the requirement of the specs that Toyota Canada and Japan both use. The right side could be the reverse of that spec meaning you could have a .7mm gap in the middle and a .4mm closer to the top which gives you an “A” gap but still within Toyota approved engineering specs. With out the knowledge of what is allowed this guy just blows misinformation
Well, life tends to make you jaded when depending on outer extremities. Hooked up with this "flawlessly put together" lady (like a fine auto?) who appeared perfect on paper, studied ballet 15 years, polly sci graduate, surfer, interned with secret service, spoke multiple languages, 10th runner up Miss California. She forgot to mention though, to her prior boyfriend & I that she was married to this Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune. So much for being smitten. Beautiful on the outside & morally corrupt/rotten to the core on the inside. Lesson learned .
Research research research. Don't just fall for the outer extremities. Find out the history before you become committed entirely.
Hey there, interesting to see many people praising the fit and finish. Ever since the first day, I’ve noticed on my left side of the car, the driver door and rear door trim do not line up, driver door being the lower one. Other than that, gaps are okay but I am puzzled on why there was such a big gap between the top of the trunk glass to the roof. Cheers!
Have you ever taken it back to your dealership in La La Land to see about having panels straightened? In theory they ARE supposed to be able to take care of such things. .
Hey there, unfortunately i didn’t bring it up to them, it didn’t bother me enough to waste my time in trying to get it fixed. Cheers!
