Recently car died in the driveway and lost both 12 V battery and what appears to be hybrid battery. I have not verified hybrid battery is bad yet. I’m just wondering since I lost the 12 V battery at the at the same time and now have replaced it… I assume I’m not going to be able to read any codes because I assume all of them were going to be lost when I changed out the 12 V battery
The car will come on now, but will not start due to check hybrid engine battery… will new code be input into the system without being able to start and drive the vehicle?
if not, what is the best path to determine the most likely cause of the Check hybrid engine alarm and triangle of death ?

if you are now getting any trouble lights or messages, there will be codes. just make sure you use a prius aware scanner
