My 2008 combo meter finally refused to resuscitate itself. I have over 265k miles on the vehicle and it runs great otherwise. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to get it repaired in the Charlotte NC metro area? I have looked at the videos to remove everything myself and would rather not attempt that. I would rather take it somewhere and let them do it as long as it is a reasonable price (which we know the dealer won’t be). Thanks for your help.
Well if you do find someone to do it, you'll probably need to buy new vents. The plastic around the vents when removed will be brittle and will most likely crack. Many hybrid shops do this repair, you should call around for a shop that can do it. They should all know how to do it by now
Thanks for the suggestion. I have seen that mentioned in some of the threads. I have also written to an electronics repair shop in Greenville SC who fixes the Combo meter to see if they can recommend a shop nearby that uses their Combo Meter repair services. In case someone else needs to find a repair facility in the area the one I contacted is Circuit Board Medics in Greenville SC.
Appreciate the suggestion. But don't see how to edit it. In the meantime, I did locate a Charlotte NC shop that does the work including repairing the Combo Meter on site. Hybrid Shop of the Carolinas 234 East Cama St Charlotte, NC 28217 704-900-5285
