Charger/discharger who’s better?

OK, guess I interpreted it wrong and you actually agree they make decent stuff at low prices. Not a native speaker, so let's blame that

 

This thread may be a couple of years old but still relevant to 2007 Prius Owners - BUY A MAXX VOLTS EL-01 ENTRY LEVEL CHARGER AND SAVE YOUR ORIGINAL PRIUS HV BATTERY!!!! I DID AND IT WORKS GREAT.

After Toyota refused to sell me a new HV Battery replacement for my 2007 Prius with 230,000 miles on it - I had to resort to replacing numerous cells in my 2007 Prius HV Battery - all to which eventually died out and had to be repeated. The problem with my 2007 Prius was I did not drive it enough to adequately charge the entire HV Pack evenly which requires about a 8-12 hour cycle - an amount of time, I never drove in one stretch. Prius' used as taxi cabs - run continually day after day - have HV Batteries with 350,000 miles on them and still going strong.

I took a chance and bought the Maxx Volts EL-01 entry level grid charger and after putting it on my 2007 Prius which was throwing "REPLACE HYBRID BATTERY CODES" twice a day - my HV Battery immediately ceased code-throws AND began showing signs of HV Battery Voltage Level improvement while driving - so much so - that after 11 consecutive overnight re-charge cycles in 11 days - no longer suffers drastic voltage level fluctuations or throws HV Battery error codes!!!!!

Not only no codes - but drastic improvement in performance between engine and HV electro-motor. My 2007 Prius with now 240,000 miles, runs like a new car.

The Maxx Volts EL-01 costs $300 - a HV battery replacement of any used or non-OEM quality is $2,000 - The choice is yours.

 

I'm 100% sure that Toyota would happily sell me any Toyota part for any of their cars, including a Prius pack, even if I didn't own one. Assuming of course that I could put the money on the counter for the pre-order if it wasn't already in stock at the parts department. There are some parts that they might not be willing to ship to a home address though, and the HV pack might be one such part. What reason did they give for not selling you one?
