Hi there! I drive a 2010 Prius with 171k miles on it. A few days ago, I pulled out slowly to make a turn and my “check hybrid system” light and all the dash lights came on in my car, while the car made a slight jerk forward. It will not move now. I plugged it into my reader and Dr Prius app… I’m sure it is my inverter that is most likely the issue since all the codes are coming up like so, but I have no idea if it’s worth fixing since the car is so old. I do not have a recalled inverter model unfortunately

I downloaded Dr Prius to check the battery health before I invest any money into fixing this, can someone tell me how my battery health is looking since I am clueless? Thank you so much for taking the time

Toyota has a 20-year extended warranty for the inverter for the Gen 3 Prius. Based on the trouble codes that you show, it should be covered. Do NOT clear the codes. Call your local dealership and tell them that you think the inverter just went bad. Give them the trouble codes that the car has. Schedule an appointment. Ask the dealership if they can have the car towed. If they can not do that, you should arrange to have it towed. If the repair is covered by the 20-year warranty, it also covers the towing cost.

Code P0A0D is for the orange safety interlock plug on the hybrid battery. Did you happen to take that out? The code means that it is not installed correctly or there is an open (broken) wire in that circuit.

Sounds like you're inverter failed. Which could also cause other issues.
I believe Toyota is still warrantying the inverter. You should contact them.
And do NOT clear those codes! You will need to show them to the service department.

Take a look at post #99 in the thread linked below : https://priuschat.com/index.php?posts/3424917

Even if the car has a salvage title, it would be covered. Take or email the two documents in that post to the dealership. Your car is covered by the 20-year warranty!
