    Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with my 2016 Toyota Prius and could really use some advice.

While folding down the rear seats to make extra space, the middle seat belt got stuck in a fixed position. Now, it’s preventing me from putting the seat back up. It feels like the belt has locked itself, and I’m unable to pull it out further or retract it.

I’ve tried gently pulling and wiggling the seat belt to see if it would release, but no luck so far. I’m worried I might damage it if I force anything.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Any tips or tricks to release the belt or reset the mechanism? Do I need to remove the seat or is there a simpler fix?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!
