Hi all, So putting back together another Gen 2 battery for a friend, and of course the top sensor broke. This has happened 3 times to me now on the older battery packs as they are now brittle.What codes will this throw and how can I fix this besides micro soldering it back yogether? Thank you in advance
Is this what you're talking about? 2004-2009 Toyota Prius Hybrid Battery Temperature Sensor Wire OEM | eBay I usually get them for cheap or free from battery re-builder. I did replace the whole harness once that had a bad sensor. And having one of the three banks sensing pack temperature that you can see on Dr. Prius app will did indeed throw a red triangle and make the car unusable. But when they break usually it's only the plastic clip not the sensor so you can just use a zip tie or electrical tape to hold it in place and it will work find that way.
