    Hey guys,
I scoured the internet and youtube with hopes of finding a possible issue with my car.
It is a 2013 base model Prius with 66k miles.
So I recently went on a trip, around 330 miles one way. On the way back, along a winding highway, the engine seemed to have stopped randomly. There was a brief moment when i felt the car sort of "slip" right when it cut out. Thats the best way I can describe that moment.
After being stranded and waiting for a tow, it got home.
When home, I read the codes (didnt have a reader on the trip) and found P0340. Camshaft position sensor "A" Circuit. I decided to find a quick replacement to see if a sensor was the root cause. It wasnt.
The car started for a few seconds, at about half of the RPMs as usual (by ear) and then shuts off.
It shows Check Hybrid System with all of the lovely lights on the dash.
I checked if the plug for the sensor had a reading and there was no issue found there.
I swapped a genuine toyota sensor in and still nothing.
After this I got my brother to read my car using Techstream. It showed a P0A0F-525 code which is a Engine failed to start code.
Other than that im currently lost.
Should I check if timing slipped a tooth? Any other suggestions for what I can do here?
Fuses are good, battery is good.
I see these possibilities. Either a bad ECU or bad timing.
Let me know if youve had this issue and if its been resolved or can point me in the right direction!
    Thanks!

Ive checked the sensors plug for 5v. Check out
Ive check for any resistance in the plug. Checks out
Plug itself was replaced with a known working plug. Checks out
Fuses and relays were checked for any issues. Checks out.
Next is an ECM thats coming in tomorrow and if not that then Im guessing i have to take the engine apart to check timing.

    Replaced the ECM. Still nothing.
Checked fuel pressure and it checks out.
Going to check out some things with techstream.
Please let me know if youve had this issue before or could point me in the right direction.
