Hello. I am interested in taking wheels from a 210/220系 Crown (G-Executive/Athlete/Majesta), which all have a base sizes of 215/55R17 , 7 or 8J with offset ET40 With the 2024 Prius SE being 195, would that even fit? Some of my friends have did a XW50 Prius with wheels off a 2017 RS Crown. I might have to use spacers? I included a link reference for photo What should i expect from rubbing, clearance and turning hinderance? I understand that it will decrease fuel economy Sorry for any confusion, i am new to wheels and my english is not very good.
Emiri, as long as your center bore and bolt pattern are identical, width of the rim and offset are not too critical. 195 looks a bit weird on an 8" wide rims: I'm using 7J x 17 with offset 50 off of Scion iM 2016. The wheels are a few LBs heavier than the stock ones. No rubbing noticed. Use wheel calculator to understand more: Rim & Tire Size Calculator. Custom Offsets - Wheel-Size.com
That's not compatible per tyre specs - you can't put a 195/60R17 tyre on an 17x8 rim. But you could go to 215/55R17, which is a more common size. (That's from the same site - and those icons do appear to be looking up the valid fittings from a table in the tyre standards manual)
will 16" wheel size fit my 2024 Prius Prime which original comes with 195/50/19? need to put on winter tires but not many options in 195/50/19. tire shop recommended 205/65/16.
How about 17' options? Guess I'm following you around, lol: Tire Size and Calibration Puzzle ? | Page 4 | PriusChat
OEM size 195/50R 19 Michelin X-ice Toyo GSi-6 available in Canada. You should read the reviews on these tires. They are both top tier tires. I’m currently running the Toyo GSi-6 on OEM 19 in Toronto
