i was thinking of using 18650 batteries to replace the hybrid anyone know how ? 18650 are similar to aa except the 18650 are 3.7 volts and the 18650 I am looking at are 5amp, 3amp, or 1amp. also, thinking of using one of these to replace the 12v in the back right of the trunk: 12V 3S 7P Li-ion Battery Storage Case Box with Power Display/ 3S40A BMS/Holder | eBay
To replace the 201.6 volt, 125 amp, 6.5 amphour hybrid battery? Why? If the highest-output ones you're looking at can give 5 amps. you'll be looking at around 1,350 of them, in something like a 54s25p configuration. You'll also need to build a battery management system able to prevent imbalances developing within or between those 25 strings of 54, and work out how to make your BMS communicate with the car's HV control ECU. It sounds like a good source of headaches ....
