'24 Prime is Gen 5. Suggest posting there, even though there is no Prime specific section. This Prime section is '17-'22 for Gen 4 Primes.

Primes are not imported to New Mexico, but my Santa Fe dealer salesman found one 'only' 250 miles away in Colorado. A neighbor went 325 miles to get hers from another dealer in Colorado (the identical trim level and color as mine).
    Some of us are determined!

A little more info would be useful. Do you live in a city or in a rural area? Do you have a garage or other access to power where you park at home? Do you live in southern PA or up in northern PA where the temps get a little lower? Will you regularly have people 5'10" or above in the rear seats for extended periods? Do you have any cargo you currently haul in your 2011 that gets near the roof? How important is a spare tire to you? Do you(or anyone that will use the car) have any significant mobility issues that makes it hard to get in and out of low vehicles?

Or have you already decided a Prius PHV works for you and all you're looking for is advice on actually finding one and getting a good deal?

I've found that your local warehouse store new car buying program is a good starting point. Sam's club, Costco, BJ's - you can negoticate the price down from there or simply take what's offered. Your not getting the best price, but your also not getting bent over either - IMHO.

The car is a joy to drive. I find myself going the long way around just for the fun of it. It takes a couple of weeks to get used to all the features I found - the conventional test drive of an hour is not long enough. To convince yourself I would maybe hire a car from the dealer for the weekend and play around.

Yeah talk to a dealership sales person then. Only advice worth giving if you're trying to buy one.

What is anyone here gonna tell you? Not to buy it? We're all owners and for the most part we like the car otherwise we wouldn't own it.
