Can’t clear C1345 On Prius v

    Hey, all, recently had a C1391 in my 2012 Prius v. Since 1391 is an accumulator leak, I decided to replace “Actuator assembly” part purchased from the dealer and matched to my VIN.

    Replacement was done per the service manual for a 2010 Prius.

    I now have the dreaded C1345 (and sometimes 1368, depending on mood). I’ve done the bleed sequence twice on techstream, and I’ve tried the “linear valve offset” multiple times in techstream and on a thinkdiag+ with no success. Sometimes it makes all the noises, sometimes not. I’ve also done it on a 12v trickle charge…

    Any ideas? Is there a step I’m missing? Is the Prius v procedure different somehow?

    Is the “linear valve” in the actuator or booster?

    Yes, because the actuator and the booster are the same part. :) (The other part is the "booster pump", and that extra word 'pump' is important for not mixing the two different parts up.)

    As for the linear solenoid learning not succeeding, I'm afraid I can't offer much, if it's a dealer actuator and was matched to the VIN, it oughtta work. Sounds like you've bled it enough there shouldn't be air bubbles in it by now. Maybe check if there's anything amiss with the lines or calipers that could be changing the response under pressure. This is a puzzling one.

    Ok, so what you have labeled “booster pump”, the dealership calls “actuator assembly”. The part I replaced is 47070-12020.
    So I got the pump part. Did I need the other one?

    Whatever dealer called it that effed up. The linear solenoid is part of the (real) actuator assembly (the upper drawing).
