I assume I have a head gasket issue. Any one know mechanics around Dothan, AL? I can't get my small town shops to look at it.
    Thanks in advance.

Probably need to explain the shops when you're calling around at this basically is a Corolla engine when the safety plug is out of the battery in the back no chance of being shocked or any funny business troubleshooting is very similar to the Corolla as far as diagnosing head gasket leaks and basic engine running It's the same engine more or less so if they'll work on a Corolla they shouldn't really be too worried about this as far as engine problems go I understand they don't want to hear about the electronics and all the nonsense and that's fine

Personally with this model in mind it's time to let that car go even fixing it and selling it you'll probably lose somewhat If you can't part it out and sell it to the junkyard or to a overzealous person that thinks they can or that believes that this model is their keeper that's what I would do I have two sitting here that are going through this process right now they're just not keepers for us so whatever parts I can't move over to other vehicles get sold off and that's that I can't deal with a bunch of problems constantly personally once it starts pretty much doesn't end In vehicles of this design anyway

Is this the same car that had the severely overheated engine about 11 months ago in this thread 2010 Prius Overheating | PriusChat? If so, you need to replace the engine or buy a different car.
