    .... wow that was rough
By around ½ of the way through - I had to make it stop.
Last bad experience prior to watching ½ of that was at the Toyota Stealership as we tried to get them to NOT try to get us to pay $10,000 over MSRP for the RAV4 Prime. Is Toyota going to stop calling the RAV4 a prime also?

This is the reason US automakers are soiling their pants and the reason Tesla is discounting their cars and offering cheaper, scaled down alternatives. IMHO, even the Nissan leaf can't compete. Will a 100% tariff stop import of this car? It's still cheaper than a Leaf and the specs. are better!

i don't think that car is legal for n/a roads.
to make it legal and add 100% tariff wil make it competitive only.

It's too slow for US buyers before adding the equipment to make it legal here. A gen2 Prius would smoke it in a race.

The next size up Dolphin has a global version for sale in Europe and Australia. The standard range in Auzzie model is US$25k with tax and tags. EPA range would be around 170miles, but the over 12sec time to 60mph would be too slow. The extended version should be competitive to the Bolt on specs, and would undercut it on price, without considering incentives and tariffs.

    Yea ....
But it's still much quicker than my mom's 62 beetle. Kid u not. That thing took nearly ½ a minute get up to 60mph

Reading up about pioneers from my hometown, their testimonies, they were a resourceful, spartan lot.

Addendum: based on a few hunches, “Southview to work” was likely close to 5 miles.
