Possible to replace the head unit of a 2020 Prius Prime LE with one from a 2022 Prime?

I currently have a 2020 Prime LE with the base 7-inch radio and the only downside to the car is that it doesn't have Android Auto (2021 and later), so I am stuck with Carplay only.

At the moment, I am looking to replace the stock head unit (86140-47620) with an OEM unit from a 2022 Prius (86140-47710). All of the connectors are the same (minus the unused green connector on my 2020) and it should (hopefully) just be a straight swap.

Is it possible to do this or are there any software conflicts between model years that would cause issues? Would I have to take it to the dealer to have it reprogrammed or unlocked or anything like that?

Someone already replaced it UPDATE: Android Auto in a 2020 Prime LE on Reddit.
And I'm also looking into replacing my radio on my Prius 2020 XLE.

Haha, that's actually my post on Reddit, I forgot to update my forum post here.

It was pretty painless and the head units were pretty much identical and the swap took less than 20 minutes

Great! Are all connectors the same?
