Hello, I have a 2013 Prius 3 I believe. Would it have many (engine) parts that would be interchangeable with a 2013 Prius C?
No because they're using two different engines. The Gen 3 uses the 2ZR-FXE engine whilst the Prius c uses the 1NZ-FXE. The Prius c is more similar to the Gen 2 Prius.
Thank you for this. Good info. So would only the 2013 gen 3 parts be interchangeable? Mine has thrown a rod and I want to get something compatible so I can use it for spare parts.
In theory, the Gen 3 and 4 as well as the Prius v have the same 2ZR-FXE 1.8 litre engine. (As well as the Corolla Hybrid). I say "in theory" because I don't actually know if there are minute differences as I have not studied the repair manuals. But on the surface, those 4 vehicles use the same engine so there's your starting point.
