2001 Prius abs codes

    Abs light on car has loud annoying continues beep brakes stop the car but very slowly not exactly safe to drive around but it will stop just not as fast as it should all signs point to the pump actuator but I know nothing about anything so should I replace the pump ? Or should I check anything else first fuses relays excetra? Car has new wheel hubs installed by a friend to try to fix issue before we got a code reader codes c1251 c1252 c1256 c1214 I'm stranded in Oregon right now and I live in Michigan and the part is very expensive so any information would be appreciated thank you

    Yes that's what you'll be replacing Just keep in mind I drove it '09 generation 2 with the brakes as you're speaking about for over a year 120 mi approximately a day never had a problem because I knew what I was stepping on It breaks just like an old truck with four-wheeled drum brakes and a master cylinder with no brake booster some of y'all may not be aged enough to remember what that is about so there you go but yeah you can run out and get the $1,400 brake booster this afternoon and have it on by 7:00 p.m. and driving like you were if the car is worth it absolutely doing generation 2's go 4 to 600k I'm not sure about the dream or the generation one as far as those miles go but it's the same setup as the two just a little earlier in the game
