Dash Cam, is there a room behind the mirror

    I want to install camera behind rear view mirror off center on the right side, there are not too much room there, too many brain boxes. My Prius has all line navigation whistles.

    Do you know if this box with the grill do some emissions, can I block with with dash camera?
    marked with the red pointer. on the photo



    I 100% want to make in invisible for driver, this is a must .

    Anybody can share their stories how they install dash cam?

    I used a Fitcamx dashcam. Takes two minutes to install. It's basically just remove and set aside the mirror cover, disconnect a cable inside the mirror assembly and connect the dashcam in serie with the cable, put the new cover which has the dashcam built-in, that's it. And looks OEM.

    Wait ,I see that nothing fit Prius 2016 with all options. Need to check more.
