I have a 2013 Prius 2 with 185K miles and in the past year I've put about $2,500 into maintaining it. Obviously, the older the car gets, the more money we spend on maintaining the car on the road. I'd like to put a poll out and ask... what is your average annual maintenance budget looking like for your Gen 3 Prius... or how much did you spend fixing/maintaining your Prius in 2024? I know the milage matters, but at this point we're all at least over 150K.
I'm at 107k...I spent about $30 twice to change my own oil and filter,,,rotated my tires myself..and $335 for a new windshield that a rock hit on the highway...that's it.
I’d have to go through all the receipts, divide by 14 (years). Just off the top of my head, $100~200 USD per year. The rare dealership visits really bump it up.
I called a local place near Sanford NC called Viking Glass...they came and installed it in the golf course parking lot while I was giving a lesson! I never saw him!
maintenance should be very low until the first major service. and nothing costly should break until at least 150k, though it does occasionally. mostly under warranty or extended warranty.
