Anyone have issue having BRAKE, ((!)), VSC, and ABS lights but no code after installation of Android Head Unit. This 2 might not be related and might just be coincidence.

Installed and replace Stock Stereo with an Android Head Unit like several days ago on a 2009 prius. Drove the car for morethan 100 miles without issue and this lights just came up today. Checked all fuse and they are ok.

Inquiring here if anyone might have experience same issue, before I go into the Rabbit hole.

    Thanks in advance.

If you have these lights, you DO have code to read. If your code reader reports no codes, your code reader is inadequate.

In all likelihood, there is no connection between your Android install and these lights on the dash.

Get a good code reader so you can be informed of the real problem that you have now.

The Autel AP200 is a good choice. $59 on Amazon right now.

Thank you for the reply. And OBD link list. I have been using BlueDriver for OBD ever since and but yes not getting any codes back, dont think it goes through ECU or if it does very limited. AP200 seems to be good one on the list that reads ECU as suggested. Having my eye on that and as suggested by @Brian1954. Thanks again.

By the way, I did however reset and remove the dash light via ABS reset procedure (OBD pin 4-13 jump) and 8 brake press within 5 sec. So currently dash is clear and good, if its really an issue and not just false alert should pop up again. Nonetheless this gives me something to work on to once I get the new OBD.

    Again much appreciated.

Keep in mind that if you found that procedure somewhere, you also found how to get the codes (what the 4-13 jump is meant for, after all), so if the lights come on again, you'll be able to tell us what the codes are.

Will do just that and thank you for the link. This made a lot easier to follow up on.
